In this week’s episodes, we discuss the Netflix documentary series Keep Sweet: Pray & Obey about the polygamous (or Plural Marriage as they would call it) Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS), which Wikipedia refers to as "a radical offshoot of mainstream Mormonism" and its current leader Warren S. Jeffs. We discuss the function of fear and power in high control groups and how women and children are subjugated and objectified within these groups while also being necessary to sustain them.
