Protests. The mere fact that we have to say that Americans have the right to protest is a problem. When President Biden addressed the campus protests against the war in Gaza, he framed it as a clash between "the first amendment right to free speech and the rule of Law". But, to say that means that the rule of law is AGAINST the first amendment right to free speech. And why isn't that heavy hand of Law enforcement ever visible when the protests are right wing, like Jan 6, 2021? That is what this episode is all about.
