A very sweet book! The plot of this book is relatable and simple. While one sees the poaching story being narrated over and over again (in some other books as well) it is the father and son bond that is the highlight of this book. The father son bond is heart warming especially in the instances where Danny has been hit by his teacher and his father takes umbrage to it (justifiably so), their life in the caravan, Danny’s skill as a mechanic and his rescue of his father when he meets with an accident while poaching. This book warms the cockles of my heart.
