On November 13, 1974, at around 6:30 p.m., 23-year-old Ronald "Butch" DeFeo Jr. entered Henry's Bar in Amityville, Long Island and declared: "You got to help me! I think my mother and father are shot!" It turned out, all six members of his family had been shot. This murder would kickstart one of the most spoken about legends in paranormal and true crime history. This week we cover the murders and next week...bring on the paranormal!
