July 22 thru the 24th will be Masoniccon at South Pasadena Lodge No.290. I have been chosen to be on one of the panels on Sunday. There will be all sorts of Masonic authors, writers, scholars, and film producers from all over the country to present their research, findings, and thoughts on Freemasonry. I hope to see you there and I know they have a gym in there so maybe we can get a workout and do some heavy lifting.
Many Masonic podcasts talked about patriotism and nationalism as part of their Fourth of July episode. But many of them did not mention some other very important aspects of that time. Ideas like sovereignty, self-reliance, and God-given rights. These were radical for the time and helped shape the founding fathers' resolve to want to break away from the king and form a new country.
