Why do church folks give others a hard time for attending church only on Easter or other Holidays? The church has been around and available to all for thousands of years. It’s a place of worship, celebration, and inspiration. Unfortunately, it’s also a place where hurt and pain reside. There are people in the church who truly believe they are the holiest of them all and feel that gives them the authority to damage others mentally.
But, what if this narrative could be changed to actually reflect what God truly intended - for ALL to come and be welcomed, regardless of the time, day, event, or holiday? What if we lifted others as opposed to breaking them down? Even if it’s one time a year! You never know that one time may be the one time needed to drive change in a person's life.
