Your domain is your business brand on the world wide web, so be mindful to choose a domain name that represents your business and is easy to remember. Five steps that will resonate are as follows:

1.  Keep it short- Would you remember it if you saw it on the side of a bus? 
2. Make it easy to type- Avoid hyphens and long syllables words, also unusual spellings
3. Include keywords- Try to use words that people might enter when searching for your type of business. 
4. Target your geographic location- Use your city or state in your domain name to appeal to local customers eg. .NYC, .CA, .UK
5. Pick the right extension- If you are running a non-profit organization , .org is suggested as a TLD (Top level Domain) choice. 

Spice it up and be creative!

Point to Note: When you’re doing your research, make sure the name you choose is not trademarked, copyrighted or in use by another company. Avoid legal actions!
