I wanted to share this with you guys and felt it was relevant during this time.
After I graduated college back in 2019 the only reason I got back into the gym was due to the fact that my mom won a free 6 month membership to crunch in a raffle lmaoooo.
Honestly I had no desire to workout. I looked like shit, was shoveling candy and ice cream in my mouth every night.
“Fuck it what’s the point?”
I used to tell myself all this bullshit to justify as to why I wasn’t taking action.
“It’s cold out nobody can see my stomach”
“I’ll start after the summer I just wanna chill out”
“I’m working too much I don’t have the time”
It’s comical to look back on, but also super relevant because you may be going through something similar especially during times like today.
At that time I had no money and honestly the gym was last on my priority list.
I hated the way I looked/felt, I just couldn’t take it anymore, so I made the decision one day to get back in there.
The first few months sucked ass, but over time I just got closer and closer to my goals.
Soon enough I began to realize that this game is all choices and momentum.
Point being, just because you don’t like where you’re at right now doesn’t mean you can’t change it.
If anything you should get excited about the journey ahead because you CAN accomplish whatever you’re trying to do if you believe that you can.
I say this all the time, but when you think about it what’s stopping you other than yourself?
It’s all on YOU!
Nobody is coming to save you, it’s time to strap in and get to work.
Your life literally depends on it.
If you continue to punish your body with alcohol, sugar, nicotine, and low quality nutrients you’re literally shortening your life span.
I’ve been guilty of this, which is exactly why I feel strongly about it.
Let’s make this year one we look back on and smile.
Are you with me or what?
Drop some 🔥🔥 in the comments if you’re ready to give this year all you got!!!
