Description

In todays episode I am joined by Thomas who has created Zensensa and coaches people with having empowered and authentic relationships, healing through toxic relationships. We delve into our behaviours and patterns that we can be playing out in our adult relationships that we have learnt from our childhood and environments which can lead to survival mechanisms of coping forming attachment styles such as secure, anxious and avoidant attachment styles. Recognising our physical and emotional needs and how these can be affected by trauma and experiences, addictions, responses and how we can be affected by our parents/caregivers relationships. Looking at how we develop from babies, touch, safety and dissociation, responses from our caregivers that can then teach us our core survival needs and how we develop our independency.

Looking at secure attachment parenting and how to nurture the child, regulate the child and repair conflict before it becomes a trauma in the body including how to connect to the child, feel safe, seen, heard and loved. We cover more topics such as people pleasing, connecting to our needs, self soothing when triggered, push pull dynamics in relationships, recognising our core needs in relationships, sexual desire, chemistry vs LOVE. The highs and lows of the effects of dopamine responses in toxic relationships, how to navigate through a new relationship, codependency, boundaries, healthy narcissism, emotional validation, self love and much more.

Thomas has a variety of online courses and much more if you are interested in connecting more:
