Running -
We humans are not genetically designed to run long duration. We are build to walk. Our knees are not designed to run on tar or concrete . our knees are designed to run on soft surfaces Running burns lot of calories - that does not meal it burns all fat - many cases you end up losing hard earned muscle
Walking -
Any one from a small child to an elderly person can walk easily Walking is known as the best cardio exercise for heart. Walking enables steady heart rate above normal heart rate and has maximum probability of burning fat without chewing up the muscle.
HIIT-
You can take advantage of short bursts of run followed but an interval of walking to enable sparing of muscle and increase metabolism better
