During this episode Luke, Kristen, and Justin discuss the mostly unknown film Donnie Darko. Donnie Darko stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Jena Malone, Patrick Swayze, and Maggie Gyllenhaal. The movie is about a high school boy that escapes death because a dark figure resembling a rabbit told him to leave in his dreams. An airplane engine falls on his bed the same night. The troubled teenager (Gyllenhaal) is them prompted to commit a series of crimes in disassociated states while exploring the idea of time travel. Much of this movie is up for interpretation, and there are many theories of what the ending means and if the events during the movie actually happened or not.
