Here's one that literally took a lot longer to happen than it should've... Today we're hanging with award winning musician, Derek Woods of The Derek Woods Band. We start by discussing what it's like to have a musical family and a Dad that is in the Blues Hall of Fame. Then, from moving back and forth from Pittsburgh to LA a couple of times, trying new sounds, and finally finding his passion for Americana/folk music, he has been in the music business for quite a while now despite him still being a younger gent. Also, Derek together with his band mates including previous guest Joe Scheller just won the 2021 Music in Media Award.
