John 9:1-3 (NKJV) says:

"Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him."

Isaiah 55:8-9 (NKJV) says:  "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts."

Why does God allow sickness and disease? Why does He choose to heal some and not others? These are questions that we have as human beings, especially when our loved ones are affected by illnesses that are out of our control. In this episode, I speak with Anthony Woodson who shares what it was like caring for his dear friend, Monique Meadows, during their college years. They both attended the same school (Towson University), and became really good friends around the time she was diagnosed with liver cancer.

In this episode, you will hear about: Anthony's childhood years growing up in church, the impact that his Grandmother, Overseer Ruth Cummings, had on his life who was also the founder of his church, how his relationship with God developed more in his teenage years, how he maintained a strong relationship with God during his college years, how joining the gospel choir on campus while in college helped to solidify his relationship with Christ as well as develop Godly friendships, details surrounding meeting Monique for the first time on campus, the day he found out she had cancer, how caring for her during her illness came to be, how despite having cancer, she encouraged others through speaking engagements at hospitals and also ministered to nurses, doctors, etc., her last words to Anthony the day before she passed, and more!
