Crime is up in California, yet Sacramento politicians still don’t want to increase the penalties on criminals. They continue to support the early release of prisoners. This past week they voted to continue allowing convicted criminals who sell children for sex to get out of custody before their full sentence is complete. They voted to make the human trafficking of minors a non-serious and non-violent felony.
