We really wanted to do this earlier in the month, but we lost our studio space (my friend got busy, you know, life) and had some technical difficulties. Still do, but we keep plugging along. We really hope you like this episode and want more from us, because we still have more to give.

I was wrong but primarily because Zoom did not do what I thought it would and my computer would not read the card from my portable recorder and had to record that directly to my computer. July is the official month for the recognition of Veteran Suicide Prevention. 22 vets a day, 9000 vets a year are lost to suicide. We wanted to recognize this and did a show, just Donovan and John, in recognition of the devastating effects service has on returning vets and remind all of us that there are resources from the VA to your priest, pastor or minister, to private hospitals and group therapy sessions.
If you are feeling like you just cant take it anymore, you just cant go on, reach out, take the first step (it is the hardest), talk to someone, anyone. We care. We all care. It may not seem like it today, but I'm begging you, don't quit. There are so many resources out there to help you, you won't be able to pick just one.
