Form and function brings us back to geometry. There are connections between tooth shapes and their function within the dentition. There is a method to the design characteristics of the dentition. There are general rules related to the function of the dentition that we will review as well as some of the considerations for dysfunction that can evolve when the form and function are improperly configured.
