Let’s take a look at the orofacial structures of the face, neck, and oral cavity. The listener will be provided with the introductory landmarks of the face and neck as well as the landmarks within the oral cavity. Comprehensive understanding of these landmarks are essential components of the oral cancer screening exam that is performed on all patients as part of the assessment in the clinical setting. The variants of normal that exist in patient populations will also be covered and are essential for clinicians to know when performing the oral cancer screening assessment.
As I say.... "Those who know will grow."
