"Get the bird." " Get the BOOK!"
This week we dive into the world of magical texts, books of shadow, and grimoires! The Owens family grimoire has been in the family since its first ancestor Maria, dating back to the 1600s.
We cover the contents as mentioned in the book and film. We also get to chat with the Grimoire keeper herself, Isis Chandler. Isis of Pagan Scrapbook Supply has meticulously replicated the Owens Grimoire (along with others) right down to the exact details of birds' wings and wax seals. She takes us through her immensely detailed process from start to finish and she sheds some new light on pages not seen in the movie.
We also tear through the fabric of history yet again to learn the origins of these mystical books and how they play a part in our lives today.
Want to start your own Grimoire or Book of Shadows, but don't know where to start? Don't Fret! The Stinas got you covered with some tips for starting your own magickal GRIMOIRE!
