Never fully trust on your GPS, watch sometimes the map on your phone, find other ways and never trust blindly on Garmin specially. Anyway, despite being lost in the mountains, I enjoyed the gravel experience, the insane gradients on the ascents, the mosquitos and bees and the two crazy descents.
