Jesus demonstrates His omniscience and lordship over the sea; defying the natural laws of the sea and instantaniously providing a large number of fish for their catch. This miracle did not only provide for their personal needs as fishermen but also opened an opportunity to be Jesus' first disiciples; to serve Him for the rest of their lives.
