On this episode of the podcast, we spoke with Chloe Ward. Chloe studies theater and creative writing, and during our conversation, we learned about how both of these artistic pursuits have given Chloe the tools for diving into comedy. We discussed how comedians think, and the process behind making something funny. Some comedians tend to take a more structured approach, while others prefer to be spontaneous. Chloe also gave us her opinions on some of the harder parts of the performance industry and how she has learned to lean into her strengths to overcome them.
We also dove into Chloe’s connection to religion and her belief in god – something that has been consistent throughout her life.
Chloe has found her niche in comedy, and it has given her the opportunity to be more vulnerable as a performer. Throughout her journey as both comedian and actor, her faith in god remains strong – as does her optimistic spirirt.
