On this episode of the podcast, we spoke with Simone Duckett. As a kid, she knew she was interested in both acting and psychology. Keeping these interests well into high school, Simone’s experiences in theater only solidified her interest in psychology. As she spent time exploring the emotions of other people as an actor, she felt her empathy grow, and saw a growing interest in how other people think and behave .
Simone plans on pursuing her Master’s degree in the next few years while she continues to gain experience as a performer. Her hope is to merge her love for acting and psychology together in her own life, using psychology to inform her performances, and her performances to inform her ideas about the human psyche.
