On this episode of the podcast, we spoke with Maggie Mae Creasman. Maggie earned her BA in Theatre from FSU. She’s had a passion for theater since 4th grade and feels that theater is a way for her to learn how to be a human. In fact, she thinks all artists are simply searching for why we are alive.
Our conversation touched on many topics, including her experience with child care, her desire to live in Europe, and her loose ideas about spirituality. We even dive into the supernatural and talk about if aliens have visited the earth or not!
Something to take away from Maggie’s conversation is that no one is ever alone in the feelings they experience. We have a shared existence, and everything we do, we do to find purpose. Maggie says she’s given up on finding her purpose – but not in a negative way.
For Maggie, not worrying about her purpose is freeing in that she has no expectations to meet. She feels that we don’t have to make such a valiant effort to find purpose in our lives. Instead, we can just live and do the things we love. Existing is enough.
