Well, it's that time of year folks. And in this....the final episode of 2021....I give you the Listener Report....things are still looking good, too. The fact that you listen to the show is inspiration and drives me to continue our intimate conversations. Oh, I gotta' tell you this. Remember Episode 9: Saint Kyle of Kenosha? That episode alone has been listened to 47 times, and the number keeps going up. I USUALLY get about 35 listens to an episode. And to think that when I uploaded that episode, I was concerned it might have been too long. I mean...I went WAY long, folks. So Thank You and Thank..You for making Saint Kyle of Kenosha the newest most popular episode to date.
It's Christmas and in episode 10, I dive into the origins of Christmas; both the traditional secular....and the religious. You might be surprised...how similar the two are....and you might be equally surprised that they both stem from the same origins. Which then leads me into the real meaning of Christmas for me...and millions across the Country....and indeed, the World.
I have to tell you....I had something different in mind when I started this episode. But AS PER USUAL....the show just writes itself sometimes. And when I listened to it....I have to say I was moved...especially in the second half, because I had no idea it would go in the direction it went. I hope you enjoy it.
