"A Promise for the Sincere"
Psalm 145:18

18 The Lord is near to all who call on him to all who call on him in truth.
Have you ever, in the midst of a painful time, been unable to see God? Even Job felt that way during those dark days of loss (Job 23:8-9). He was actively seeking some sign that help was on the horizon, and he saw none. The feeling that God has abandoned you is just a slight of hand; it's a magician's trick.
Satan is trying to play “now you see Him and now you don't.” Don't be fooled, because God is right here. He's as close as your next breath. Even in the midst of unspeakable pain, Job knew this to be true (Job 23:10).
We can have joy during the hardest times because we know that God is near to those who call on Him. We don't have to see Him with our eyes to know He's closer than we can even fathom.
Let's not fall for Satan's worn-out tricks; let's rejoice knowing that God is near.
