"Ask and Receive"
James 1:5
New International Version
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
During trying times, we must turn to God and ask Him for wisdom. Our friends, parents, boss, and noisy neighbors may have advice, but only God knows and sees all. He alone can rightly direct our steps and show us what we should do. If we seek to know God’s will, we can trust He will always guide us step by step as we seek Him.
Is your mind cluttered with worry right now because you are confused about troubling circumstances? Set aside some time to sit quietly before God this week with your Bible, a pen, and a notebook. Spend time praying and asking Him to give you discernment as you read your Bible.
