Proverbs 13:4

4 A sluggard’s appetite is
never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied.
God expects us to have good conduct in our work and business dealings. He calls His people to be diligent and hardworking. We are to represent God with our actions. Laziness opposes God’s purpose for us which is to remain diligent to serve Him and others with
good works.
In what circumstance are you tempted to procrastinate or remain idle and lazy? God empowers believers to overcome the flesh’s tendency to laziness by giving us a new nature on our day of salvation.
