"Chosen People"
1 Peter 2:9-10
New International Version
9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his
wonderful light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
We believe that if we fail, we are a failure. Beloved, run from this lie. God allows us to fail to reveal His strength in us. Our failure highlights our need for Christ. It reminds us
to surrender to His will. But falling short on a goal does not mean you fall short in the eyes of God.
God loves you no matter your weakness or your shortcomings. His priority is your walk with Him. Leave behind the blame. Learn from the past. Remember Whose you are.
What failure do you need to lay at the foot of the cross today? Remember, Jesus’ blood covers all your failures: past, present, and future.
