10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Have you ever known someone who struggled with discovering his purpose in life? It could be a young personchoosing a career or a college. It might be an older person trying to figure out what to do after retirement. It doesn't matter who they are or at what stage of life they are in, people want to know why they are alive and what they're meant to do.
Every person was created by God with a purpose. No one ever draws a single breath without good works beingplanned in advance for her to do. People who live knowing they have a purpose are joyful people.
God doesn't always give us the details of His plan for our lives, but we can live knowing that there is one. And it's good! As we wait for His timing, we simply do the next thing.
Long before our hearts were beating, we existed in the heart of God. There is a part of His grand plan that only you can play. He has a unique plan for every other person as well. Each plan has a purpose-and a plan with purpose brings us great joy. It's so exciting.
