“Every Nature of God... "
Job 22:2-3
New International Version
2 “Can a man be of benefit to God? Can even a wise person benefit him? 3 What pleasure would it give the Almighty if you were righteous? What would he gain if your ways were blameless?
God, would need that kind of fulfillment. It's not as if God is somehow incomplete or lacking anything...is he?
By his nature God is the very picture of completeness. But that is not to say of likes being alone any more than we do. Because we are like him and he like us, God must also relish the joy of fellowship. Yet for a holy God, there is obviously a limitation on his ability to fellowship with that which is unholy...which would be us! Why then would God not take pleasure in our righteousness?
This means that God can have even would need that kind of fulfillment?
