"Exuberant Praise for Redemption"
Psalm 71:23

23 I will shout for joy and sing your praises, for you have ransomed me.
A person who lacks joy in his life is, most likely, one who has forgotten all that the Lord has done for him. This is a common tactic of the enemy: he loves for people to focus on what's wrong with the world around them. Satan knows negativity can quickly crowd out joy.
If you find yourself in a bit of A joyless rut, take a moment and review the topics of your recent ramblings or meditations. Was there more complaining and grumbling or praise and gratitude? What about your most recent conversation? Did you feel joyful or drained when it was over?
The psalmist knew that the key to living joyfully was to be a person of praise. Our hearts will fill with joy when our lips are full of praise to the Lord for all He's done. Are you feeling low on joy? Take a moment and begin praising God for who He is, and joyful shouts will soon follow!
