Daily Devotion:

"Fearless in His Strength"

 Psalm 46:1-3

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.”

In times of uncertainty and turmoil, the words of Psalm 46 offer great comfort. The writer emphasizes that God is both a refuge and a source of strength. Reflect on the challenges you may be facing, whether personal trials, worries about the future, or events in the world.

Remember that amid these challenges, God is a present help, providing safety and support. The exhortation to "be still" invites us to pause, to cast aside our anxieties, and to rest in the assurance of God's sovereignty. Cultivatingstillness opens our hearts to His peace, allowing us to experience the strength of His presence.

Reflection:

What are some areas in your life where you need to seek God as a refuge?

How can you cultivate stillness to better know God in your daily routine?
