"From Generation to Generation"
Luke 1:46-50
New International Version
46 And Mary said: “My soul glorifies the Lord 47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, 48 for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed, 49 for the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is his name. 50 His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to
generation.
Today, we are still waiting on the coming of the Lord. We still find ourselves in a world with arrogant, prideful people, a world of suffering, war, loss, death, and pain. But even in this, we have joy! We have joy because we know what is coming. We can rest and rejoice in all He has done and all He will do, and we can trust Him to provide what we need. He manifests in the flesh to die for us, and to rescue us from sin and death. And, when He returns, He will reign as King, establishing His justice and removing pain and brokenness from the world once and for all. May
our souls exalt the Lord!
