"God's Promise in the Midst of Fear"
Isaiah 41:10

10 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
You're offered the promotion you've wanted for three years, but instead of joy, you feel panic: What if I can't do the job?
You have a unique idea for a book, and you can't wait to get started. But by the end of the first page, you're staring at the monitor in terror: What if no one wants to read this non sense? What if I never sell a single copy?
Here's a question to ponder: Who told you that failure is wrong? Fear of failure will extinguish joy faster than you can say, “I blew it.” We've accepted the lie that failure is always bad, and therefore we should avoid it at all costs. However, as Robert F. Kennedy observed, “Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly.”
To truly follow God wherever He leads, we must be okay with failing once in a while. Only then will we change the world around us. Today, shake off the fear of failure and welcome the joy.
