"Grow In Wisdom"
James 1:5
New International Version
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
Overcoming the lies in our lives requires us to exhibit wisdom. Some of us may not think of ourselves as wise. Fortunately, wisdom is a trait we can develop. Scripture mentions a couple of ways we can grow in wisdom.
The first way to gain wisdom is by spending time with wise people. There is truth to the English idiom, “birds of a feather, flock together.” Wise people associate with the wise and fools accompany fools.
The second way to grow in wisdom to ask God for wisdom. He is faithful to bestow this gift to the ones
who ask in faith. When was the last time you sought wisdom from those around you or through prayer?
