"His Grace Is Sufficient for Us"
2 Corinthians 12:9
New International Version
9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. ”Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
Jesus calls Himself the Bread of Life. He is the life-giving all-sustaining One, able to provide for every need. God is our portion and our strength. His grace is sufficient in every trial we face.
Our problem is that we often lack the faith to recognize His sufficiency. We rely on our own strength instead of waiting on the Lord. God is with you and will provide for you in everything you face. How have you shown a lack of faith by trusting in yourself rather than trusting God to provide for you?
