"I Have Called You Friends"
John 15:15

15 I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.
One of the greatest joys in life is the gift of friendship. To have someone who's on your side no matter what can make all the difference during difficult times. It doesn't matter how many friends you have or how long they've known you. Theintimacy and depth of the relationship is what matters. If you've ever felt like the odd man out or as if you've missed out on the gift of one true friend, Jesus has great news: He declares Himself your Friend. Can you even comprehendthat?
The Word, the Bread of Life, the Living Water looks at you and says, “I call you My friend.” Perhaps you've read a verse like Proverbs 18:24 and thought, I don't have a friend like that. If you're a follower of Christ, you do and it's Christ Himself! Jesus is that friend “who sticks closer than a brother," and that should bring you great joy.
