"Our Access to God's Wisdom"

Hebrews 5:11-14

New International Version

11 We have much to say about this, but it is hard to make it clear to you because you no longer try to understand. 12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! 13 Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. 14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

If you’re experiencing cloudy judgment right now, you can lean on two sources for guidance: God’s Word and
God’s Spirit. When we listen for His Spirit and read Scripture over time, we will gradually be trained to sense the difference between what is righteous and what isn’t. Even if you face a situation that isn’t addressed in the Bible, you have a Helper whose job is to guide you into all the truth (John 14:26; 16:13).

God has given all believers access to His wisdom. So if you need guidance today, don’t hesitate to ask Him. He wants to help you.
