"Praise Him Even More"
Psalm 113 :1-2
New International Version
1 Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, you his servants; praise the name of the Lord. 2 Let the name of the Lord be praised, both now and forevermore.
This psalm was recited by generations of Israelites, reminding and exhorting them to praise the Lord in
all circumstances. He is worthy of praise, He is exalted, and nothing can compare to Him. He sits on high, but He bends down to look at the earth, to care for His people. He lifts the poor from the dirt and puts them in places of
honor. He turns barrenness to fruitfulness. God is worthy of praise. Whether or not we’ve seen God answer prayers in miraculous ways like Hannah did, or we’re still waiting for God to answer, He is worthy of praise. He pays attention to us, His people. The Redeemer we are waiting on. While we wait, we praise His character, faithfulness, and love.
We praise Him for what He has already done in our lives and rejoice that one day, when all His promises are
completely fulfilled, we will praise Him even more.
