"Raised from the Dead"

8 Always remember that Jesus Christ, a descendant of King David, was raised from the dead. This is the Good News I preach.
How are we supposed to live joyfully when everything around us is out of control? That's really the question, isn't it? How are we supposed to have joy when the news leaves usunsettled and our personal lives are in disarray? There's only one way and it almost seems too simple. Paul said it this way: “Always remember that Jesus Christ... was raised from the dead.”
No matter what is currently going wrong, Jesus was still raised from the dead. In the midst of broken relationships, financial concerns, health scares, and heartaches, Jesus Christ was raised from the dead. That is how we can live with joy in any and every circumstance. This good news can bring you joy each and every day because you are promised that same power (Ephesians1:19-20). When you find yourself in need of joy, “always remember that Jesus Christ ...was raised from the dead.” Whatever happens.
