"The God Who Provides Hope"
Ephesians 2:12
New International Version
12 remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.
A person without God is a very scary creature. Without Christ, we are rebellious, disobedient, self-serving, self-seeking, dead and hopeless – drowning in our sins. Apart
from God, we will worship anything and anyone. He is the one and only way. A heart that is hardened to the reality of sin will likely reject the divine and holy forgiveness freely available to cleanse it. But with Christ, all things are made new. Because of Him, we have new hope.
In what areas of your life are you feeling hopeless and alone? Open your heart to the presence of God and seek Him fervently. We can’t experience true hope in this fallen world unless we know the God who provides hope.
