"The Invitation to Follow"
John 1:40-42

40 Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, was one of these men who heard what John said and then followed Jesus.
41 Andrew went to find his brother, Simon, and told him, “We have found the Messiah” (which means “Christ”. 42 Then Andrew brought Simon to meet Jesus. Looking intently at Simon, Jesus said, “Your name is Simon, son of John—but you will be called Cephas” (which means “Peter”.)
Andrew was one of the first disciples to follow Jesus. The first thing he did was tell his brother Simon Peter about the Messiah. There was no mention of resentment or self-pity when Peter was chosen as one of Jesus’ inner circle of three. In fact, whenever the Gospels mention Andrew, he was bringing people to Jesus. With whom is God
calling you to share your faith? Believers have the Holy Spirit who enables God’s people to live for Him and proclaim Him boldly to all we encounter.
