Psalm 50:10

10 For all the animals of the forest are mine, and I own the cattle on a thousand hills.
How often do you lose sleep because you're worried about finances? Maybe you're dealing with an unexpected bill or a job loss. Perhaps a need has arisen within the community to which you feel called to contribute, but you don't feel you have enough to give. When it comes to money, Satan wants us to either feel scared or stingy.
We can live joyfully no matter how much or little is in our bank account. The trick is to remind ourselves that it's all God's anyway. Understanding that God owns everything prevents two common worries.
First, knowing it's not ours prevents us from being stingy and being tempted to cling too tightly to money.
Second, knowing everything is His prevents us from being scared because we're reminded that He's able to meet any need that comes our way.
Are you in need? Rejoice, because your God owns the cattle on a thousand hills.
