"The Perfect Lamb"
John 1:29
New International Version
29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
In the Old Testament, God made provision for the Israelites by commanding them to sacrifice a perfect
lamb on Passover to die in place of their firstborn children.
Jesus Christ became the perfect Lamb by becoming the only worthy sacrifice for all of mankind. Through Him, all sin is defeated.
In whom are you placing your trust, hope, and security? Jesus, the Lamb lived in sinless perfection. He willingly and selflessly sacrifice His divinity so that you and I would not have to endure the wrath because of sin.
Jesus can be trusted with all that we are, all that we endure, and all that we hope to become.
