"The Promise of Divine Presence"
John 14:22-23
New Living Translation
22 Judas (not Judas Iscariot, but the other disciple with that name) said to him, “Lord, why are you going to
reveal yourself only to us and not to the world at large?” 23 Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.
One of the lesser known disciples, Judas (also known as Thaddeus), questioned Jesus at the Last Supper asking how would He reveal Himself. Jesus answered Judas stating that revelation would come to the disciples through love, obedience, and unity. Judas sought Jesus for answers.
Today, believers are privileged to have the Holy Spirit and the Word of God which magnify God and guide believers to all truth. Where or from whom are you seeking revelation about your life, your future, and your circumstances? God’s Word through the Holy Spirit give true perspective to life’s questions and answer our deepest needs.
