Proverbs 3:9-10
New International Version
9 Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; 10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.
We honor the Lord when we invest our wealth and the first of our income into eternal godly endeavors. Our giving is a reflection of what is important in our lives. When we support our churches, ministries, and community outreaches with our money, our time, and our talents, we demonstrate God’s priority in our lives.
Where are you investing your wealth, your time, and your spiritual gifts? Believers should diligently pray about how much to give and pray for joy in giving. Although we have many expenses on earth, believers must not forget that we have a responsibility to invest in God’s priorities so that His Word and His mission spread globally.
