"Think Up!"
Philippians 4:8

8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
To combat lies, we must think about what is true. Often, we want to think about a worst-case scenario or allow our thoughts to dwell on the things of this world. Scripture commands us to “think up.” As believers, we should renew our minds constantly and think about things of God, not things of earth.
So, what are the things of Heaven rather than the things of earth? According to Philippians 4:8, Paul encourages believers to think about whatever will build up the body of Christ. These include things that are honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, or worthy of praise. The messages we receive from television, radio, and the internet can often contradict this Scripture. Therefore, we must be intentional about protecting our minds from the lies of the world and from the deception of the enemy.
