DAILY DEVOTION :
"YOU ARE WONDERFULLY MADE..."
Psalm 139:14-15
(The Passion Translation)
14 I thank you, God, for making me so mysteriously complex! Everything you do is marvelously breathtaking. It simply amazes me to think about it! 15 You even formed every bone in my body when you created me in the secret place; carefully, skillfully you shaped me from nothing to something.
It is not God’s desire for us to feel frustrated and condemned in our lives. He wants us to realize that we are His children, and we are pleasing to Him.
There are plenty of voices trying to tell us who and what we are not, but the closer we get to God, the more we hear Him, telling us who we are—righteous in Christ, loved and well-pleasing to Him. The devil tells us we cannot possibly be acceptable to God because of our faults and sins, but God tells us that we are accepted.
If you have dealt or are dealing with any guilt or condemnation today, remember that God never reminds us of how far we have fallen. He always reminds us of how far we can rise. He reminds us of how much we have overcome, how precious we are in His sight, and how much He loves us.
The more you walk with God, the better you feel about the person, He created you to be.
