"Your Faith Has Healed You"

Luke 18:38-42

New International Version

38 He called out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 39 Those who led the way rebuked him and told him
to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” 40 Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him, 41 “What do you want me to do for you?” “Lord, I want to see,” he replied. 42 Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.

What a privilege for us to have access to Luke’s Gospel account so we can see the humanity of Jesus. From His temptation in the desert to His sorrow and anguish in the garden, we can know that our Savior truly knows and understands our pain. It is made clear that He sees our pain and cares for us by the way He continually went out of His way to heal the sick, especially those on the fringes of society. He performed miracles for His people even though they had nothing to give Him in return. Our King cares for us. He has the power, authority, wisdom, and
compassion to meet our needs. He truly knows our pain, and He heals us. Jesus wept over the lost in Jerusalem. He came to save the lost, but many still rejected Him. What about you? Jesus will not stop seeking you until you place
your faith in Him. What is holding you back from trusting Him with your salvation today? And, if you have already trusted Him to forgive your sins and give you eternal life with Him, what is holding you back from fully trusting
Him with whatever you are facing today?
