Today’s lift is a reminder that whether people call you “too skinny” or “too fat”, whether you love or hate the way you look (I don’t know if I have ever achieved a true love of how I look)…

There are certain themes of your physical fitness that are exponentially more crucial to your wellbeing than a number on a scale.

Our existence is not simply physical… its emotional, mental, and spiritual. These expressions of life cannot be separated from each other. Maybe your physical health is not your number one priority right now. Why? I mean, I understand. Maybe you are taking care of a sick loved one, or are going through a crisis with your child, or maybe you have a great metabolism and there are other things to worry about… completely understandable.

But what if your neglect in this one area is having a great effect on the others?

My encouragement today is, insert one physical activity into your each day. That could be Elite Crossfit, and it could be a short walk. It’s not the calories you burn, it is the habit you are building. Do it again tomorrow, and again the next day.
